Hello and welcome to Friendship Daily, a nice little community for My Little Pony: FiM fans and others to chat with one another. Before you start commenting here, it is important to read and understand these community guidelines. They will help you to enjoy your time here on FD.
General Rule: Do not cause drama or be a jerk.
- Please be considerate of other users. Do not be a hater. All harassment, antagonizing speech, personal attacks, etc. are not allowed here. If you have issues with a user on FD, contact us via email to fix the issue.
- Any concerns or suggestions about FD itself can be brought to the mods' attention via our email at FDComplaints@yahoo.com. Do not confront a mod in DMs over an issue; use the email; though tell us you sent it.
- Also, do not to talk about drama from other sites here. It is better to keep drama contained to that site. Also, do not attack people from other sites on here or tag them just to harass them. FD is not the place for that.
- Do not excessively vent either. For example, do not make every other post of yours about personal drama. It is fully ok to express your feelings, but do not overdo it. We want FD to be as drama-free as possible.
Comment Rules:
1) No sh*tposting or spamming, even if it is ironic. We are not Equestria Daily.
2) Avoid talking about controversial topics, such as politics, religion, social issues, etc. Things can get toxic really quickly. There are many other sites to talk about those topics anyway. Do not false flag comments for any reason as well.
3) Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation is recommended. This is not a mandatory rule, but we prefer if you use proper spelling and grammar when commenting here, to make things easier to read for people in the chat.
4) No lewd comments. This is subjective due to context and content. That being said, do not make NSFW or overly suggestive comments, especially towards another person, as that could make them feel uncomfortable. When in doubt, do not do it.
5) Do not circumvent the word filter. Some curse words are allowed by the filter on Disqus, others are not. In general, try not to use curse words. If you do, at least try to censor them or keep it minimal. We want to keep the chat clean.
6) Do not post a lot of pictures or videos at once. Posting a lot of pics or videos at once can slow down peoples' devices and not allow for those who are entering the chat a chance to say hello without their comment being buried under a ton of pics.

1) No NSFW pics are allowed. This would include any pics that are labeled questionable or explicit on Derpibooru or restricted on DA. This would also generally be the same for non-Pony pics, such as anime or furry pics.
2) Suggestive pics are allowed. Any pic that is labeled suggestive is allowed. However, there are restrictions. Pics that imply porn, sex, are BDSM-themed, or is a fetish pic (such as featuring overly large body parts) are not allowed.
3) Remember that suggestive pics can not be directly posted. You can only post a link to where the pic is on, not the pic itself. Us mods will soon enforce this policy and delete any suggestive pics that are directly posted onto the site.

4) Mark the pic as being suggestive (like on EqD) and provide a little detail on what the picture is; such as the character's name and situation. This way people will not be blind on what they are going to see before clicking on it.
Video Rules:
1) No NSFW; overly suggestive content. This includes full or partial nudity and anything that is overly lewd in nature (such as minimal clothing or sexually lewd situations). Basically, any video that is mature (18+) is not allowed.
2) As with the comment rules, videos that are controversial are not allowed. This would be videos that relate to politics, social issues, or religion. In addition, videos that promote illegal activity or have high amounts of cursing in them.
One Last Thing: The Mods and Rule Violations
All mods are equal. Every mod on FD has the same responsibilities and we usually vote on every issue. Some things do take time, but you should never be afraid to message us if you have an issue. We will tell you where we are with your request, issue, or question. Just contact us through our email, as mentioned above. This would be the best way to contact us with your issue.

We have the right to delete any comment, video, or picture that violate the rules. A mod has to get agreement from another mod before doing so. This helps eliminate bias. If your post is going to get deleted, we will let you know and why it was. You will not get in trouble over accidental posting of direct suggestive pics, etc, unless it happens multiple times or deliberately.
We also decide when it comes to warning a user or banning them for violating the rules. We try to make sure that this process is fair. When it comes to disciplinary actions, we have what is called the “1-3-1 Rule”. We will issue you one warning at first, then a temporary ban for a period of 3 hours if you violate the rules again. This does not apply to picture rule violations.

After the ban ends, if there is another violation, we will issue another warning. After this, a ban for 3 days will be imposed. Another warning, then a ban for 3 weeks. Finally, after one final warning, you will be banned for 3 months. This is the max ban, the maximum time a person can be banned for under normal circumstances; permanent bans for spammers, bots, and doxxers.

The only exception is in an emergency; such as if a user is severely bullying another user, or causing massive disruption to the whole community. In these cases, a mod can bypass issuing a warning and issue a ban to the bad actor if he or she gets agreement from at least one other mod.
